Tripod Crest Planing was established in 1993 and has maintained a strong in-house skill base.

We have a fleet of 37 machines ranging from the small W350 through to the 2.2 metre planer. This fleet is further complimented by our ancillary equipment comprising of low loaders, bowsers and workshop facilities.

We operate on all types of contracts from small hire works through to Highways Agency MAC contracts and  Airfields.

Our strength is in our people and equipment, with the most experienced team and the largest fleets of planing machines in the UK. We have skilled operators based throughout the country enabling us to achieve a genuine national coverage.

Tripod Crest's machines and vehicles are maintained in our purpose built workshop by a team of dedicated engineers, accompanied by a 24 hour, 7 day week, customer contact number to give you, the customer, the comfort that the best is never far away.

Full on site supervision with a wealth of experience is also provided for all contract works, so solutions can be found for any site problems - be they technical or logistical.

Tripod Crest Planing is committed to providing a safe, reliable and efficient service to our customers. The business was a founder member of the Federation of Planing Contractors (FPC) and was one of the first planing contractors to receive the SafePlane Charter.
